Welcome to della Voce

With a contemporary atmosphere and eclectic Mediterranean flavors, della Voce is a unique fine dining restaurant in downtown Manhattan, KS. We offer lunch from Monday to Friday, as well as Brunch on Sunday mornings. We are open for dinner daily.

Everything at della Voce, from the art on the walls and ceiling to the trendy bar, screams East Coast style; the menus, are composed of Italian-American classics as well as modern versions of European staples. But at della Voce we want you to have fun and enjoy yourself, come as you are and enjoy our daily $12 lunch, weekly dinner and martini specials and monthly wine tastings.

We’ll give you a big-city dining experience at an affordable price.

In addition to our restaurant, we have private space available and offer off-site catering services.

Noah Reagan: Owner, General Manager

For Noah, opening della Voce is an accomplished mission. At the age of 14, Noah knew that he wanted to become a restaurateur, and began working toward his goal. Noah, who grew up in Manhattan, worked as dishwasher, bus boy and line cook before entering Kansas State University’s School of Hospitality Management. Upon graduation he had already worked in the field oversees, first in the Hotel Camino Real, in San Jose, Costa Rica, then at the Marriott Champs Elysee, in Paris, France.

della Voce is the first location that Noah will open as owner. However, he has helped others in restaurant openings — Island Ventures, in the Turks and Caicos Islands opening of Mango’s; The Briar Group, in Boston, Massachusetts, where he was the opening General Manager of Solas, an upscale Irish Pub inside the historical Lenox Hotel; He has also worked for The Four Seasons Hotel, where he was the General Manager of Dimare, an upscale Italian restaurant, in their Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica, resort.

Noah is a proud graduate of Manhattan High School and Kansas State University. After spending close to a decade living abroad and in the East Coast, he came back to Manhattan to open della Voce.

When he is not at della Voce, Noah likes to watch college fooball, grill and travel with his wife Olivia.

Chris Shanklin: Executive Chef

Chris knew he wanted to cook at age 9 when he realized that he could, by taste, recreate the flavors of the foods of his favorite restaurants in his parents’ home kitchen.

He was raised in Texas, and later moved to Kansas. He graduated from Manhattan High School, and then went on to Butler County Community College and Johnson County Community College where he obtained degrees in Music, Business and Culinary Arts.

An active chef in the kitchen, Chris has been with della Voce since it’s opening in 2007, and was promoted to Executive Chef in November 2008. Before coming to della Voce, he had been in the Manhattan food industry for close to a decade, including an 8 year stint at the Manhattan Country Club.

When he is not cooking in the della Voce kitchen, Chris is cooking at home. He enjoys making comfort foods for his wife Jenny and their children Christopher and Brady. He also enjoys playing softball and watching sports. He is a fan of all Wildcat sports, as well as a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys.
